Stoplight Receives Startup Weekly’s 2022 Exceptional Workplace Award & Austin Business Journal’s Fast 50 Recognition

October 5, 2022, AUSTIN, Texas – Stoplight, the global API design company, was recently recognized by The Startup Weekly as an Exceptional Place to Work in 2022. In addition to this recognition, Stoplight was also recognized as a Fast 50 2022 award winner by the Austin Business Journal.

“A good company and a product are only as good as the teammates who back it. We are fortunate to have a stand-out group of employees here at Stoplight. These recognitions are a testament to the solid, remote-first employee culture we’ve worked hard to craft,” shares Sarah McGettigan, VP of Human Resources at Stoplight.

The Startup Weekly presented the Exceptional Workplace award to companies that have demonstrated a commitment to employee satisfaction and engagement. This year’s awards attracted a record number of applications across company stages in the United States.

The Startup Weekly is a leading independent source of news, insights, interviews, and awards for business builders across all sectors of the economy. The winners were selected by a panel of judges comprised of top executives, founders, investors, and industry experts. The companies were evaluated based on a combination of employee survey results, online and offline reviews, and industry recognition.

“This year’s award recipients have gone above and beyond to drive workplace satisfaction and excellence. The judging panel was thoroughly impressed with all the awardees,” said Peter Justin, Managing Editor of The Startup Weekly.

As for the Austin Business Journal recognition, the 2022 Fast 50 contest looks at the last three years of revenue growth to determine winners, in this case for 2019 to 2021. This year’s Fast 50 offers a unique look at the companies that were able to keep up growth as the pandemic took hold.

The Fast 50 awards were open to all companies based in Travis, Williamson, Hays, Caldwell, Bastrop, and Burnet counties with at least $500,000 in net revenue. The final ranking for Stoplight under the small company category will be revealed during an event at the JW Marriott in Austin on October 20.

Both of these workplace recognitions come shortly after Stoplight’s product was also recognized as leader in the G2 2022 Fall API Design Grid report, as well as a Best Place to Work early this year by Built In Austin.
